Which surface for badminton

Questions people ask us
Which flooring is best for a badminton court?
For most clubs and schools, sports vinyl: grippy, cushioned and quick to lay. For top halls and academies, a sprung wooden floor such as Antelope Air-Cush.
What is a synthetic badminton court?
An indoor court laid with a synthetic surface, usually sports vinyl or PU, instead of wood. It is cushioned for lunges and needs little upkeep.
Can badminton be played on an outdoor acrylic court?
It can be played casually, but wind moves the shuttle, so serious badminton belongs indoors.
What is the size of a badminton court?
13.40 × 6.10 m for doubles. The singles court is 5.18 m wide.
